I design and build custom, heirloom-quality furniture and fixtures for discerning individuals. I create pieces that are built to last, and to age gracefully over time. I favor clean shapes, simple geometry and mixing materials. I work with finish specialists, other precision fabricators, and select local craftsmen as needed to realize these designs. As you view my work, try not to see it as a catalog; think of it as a starting point, or an array of possibilities to inspire something new and unique.

Some pieces you see here were site-specific, or addressed a particular functional need. Some were driven by a particular process or material. Many of these designs have a range of options or possibilities; size, configuration, material, finish… it really depends on you. Alternate versions and design options already exist for some of these pieces. Of course, everything shown here can also be made (or improved) just as you see it.

I trained as a designer, worked as a machinist and sculptor, and have many years of professional experience in both two- and three-dimensional design. I am continuously expanding my tool kit, exploring new methods, materials, and processes to use in my work. Experience has taught me that, in most successful endeavors, collaboration is the key. It’s also integral to the way I work. If you like what you see here, then let’s talk about your project. I look forward to hearing from you.
